Tenants' Union supports 'Housing is a Human Right: National Day of Action'

05/12/2023

The Tenants' Union of NSW supports the upcoming event, 'Housing is a Human Right: National Day of Action.' It's inspiring to see renters across Australia getting together to address the problems within our current housing system. This community organising is a powerful testament to the shared belief that everyone deserves a safe, stable, and secure home.

Renters are stepping forward, calling attention to the challenges they face and demanding change. We stand firmly behind this, and will always support renters to have their voices heard. Renters and the broader community behind them, standing up, calling out existing problems and offering solutions will be the catalysts for change.

We’re excited to see people coming together, supporting one another, and collectively advocating for a housing system that prioritises the well-being of all. If you can, we encourage you to get along to help shape a future where every person can enjoy the fundamental right to a home.
