Please make a note if your matter is urgent i.e. Urgent Repairs, Lockouts, Evictions.

The Western Sydney Tenants' Service (WESTS) provides free tenancy advice, referrals, advocacy and in some cases representation for residential tenants at the Tribunal. We run regular community information sessions on tenancy issues. Our services are focused but not limited to tenants from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds; who are low income earners; living in social housing; who suffer isolation; and/or who have disabilities. Our services are available to renters living in Sydney's west, from Parramatta to Mount Druitt, from Rooty Hill to Windsor. Please note, we do not offer advice on tenancy issues to landlords or real estate agents.

The WESTS office in Parramatta is open from Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. Suite 302, Level 3, 107 Phillip St, Parramatta. Please call first to book an appointment. WESTS also runs an outreach in Penrith on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 8am-12pm and 1-4pm. Community Connections Building, Suite 104, 114-116 Henry Street Penrith. Q+A: Water restrictions, drought and rental bond

"The agent is demanding all of my bond to pay for turf and lawn work. The lawn is not what it was at the beginning of the tenancy. But, we are in drought and there are water restrictions. There were sessions on the new domestic violence tenancy laws, the 'pay to stay' principle in relation to rent arrears, electricity in land lease communities, the NDIS, social housing transfers, and much more.
