You can find out what the TU is working on and what we've achieved or what we think about tenancy and housing issues nationally and internationally though our information platforms.
The Brown Couch
Our blog, The Brown Couch, is a respected source of news and analysis.
'A quick, timely and entertaining way to stay up to date with housing policy issues' A regular reader.
We've been publishing our flagship magazine Tenant News for 40 years. It’s the journal of record of the battle for tenants’ rights in NSW. It reports on the work of the Tenants’ Union itself but also of the advocacy services, the TAASs. It’s always carried stories of tenants themselves. It’s always been important to ground the work of the Tenants’ Union and the advocacy services and law reform particularly in the real life experience of tenants.
'Tenant News - always up-to-date, relevant - a must read' A happy reader.
We produce a number of email bulletins to which you can subscribe: our main e-bulletin keeps you posted about our work and tenant-related issues in NSW; Onboard is an update about our work and news of interest to community workers who assist boarding house residents; Outasite Lite is of interest to park residents, community workers, advocates and stakeholders.
