Northern Rivers TAAS: COVID-19 service update

The Northern Rivers Tenants' Advice and Advocacy Service is taking a proactive approach to the potential spread of COVID19.
Our advice line continues to operate on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. The advice will be limited to the following matters – termination; threats of or actual eviction; hearings in the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal; domestic violence; urgent repairs relating to electricity/water supply or damage from fire, flood, storm; serious health or safety issues.
Non urgent matters will be referred to NSW Fair Trading: 13 32 20
We will continue to advise social housing tenants but there may be delays in providing a service.
Referrals from community organisations will be assessed on a case by case basis.
