The landlord, [name of landlord], is the owner of premises at [address of premises] in the State of New South Wales.
A residential tenancy agreement dated [date] was signed by [name of tenant leaving] over the premises at [address of premises] in the State of New South Wales.
By the Agreement [name of tenant leaving] became tenant of the premises at [address of premises] for the term of [number of months] months from the date of the start of the Agreement.
[name of tenant leaving] wishes to assign their Agreement to [name of new tenant].
The landlord gives their consent to the assignment of the Agreement from [name of tenant leaving] to [name of new tenant].

On signing of this Assignment

On execution of this Deed the landlord agrees that [name of new tenant] is a tenant under the Agreement and they may exercise any rights as the tenant under that Agreement.
On execution of this Deed the Agreement is assigned by [name of tenant leaving] to [name of new tenant].
On execution of this Deed the landlord releases [name of tenant leaving] from any liability arising from the Agreement after the date of execution of this Deed.
On execution of this Deed I [name of new tenant], indemnify [name of tenant leaving] from any future claims brought against them by [name of landlord] in relation to premises at [address of premises].

IN WITNESS to the parties have executed this Deed of Assignment on the [day] day of [month] [year].
